A custom course platform instead of another rented LMS.
A nail educator selling courses through third-party platforms that took a cut, controlled the customer relationship, and could not be branded. We built them their own.
The challenge
Vynl Academy had course content and a proven audience but no platform of their own. Off-the-shelf course tools meant per-sale fees, a checkout that looked like someone else's product, no control over the student experience, and no access to the customer data that makes a second launch cheaper than the first.
The strategy
We built a custom learning platform rather than configuring a rented one — course structure, enrolment, and checkout under their own domain and branding. The architecture supports multiple education tracks so new courses can be added as products without a rebuild.
Execution
Custom learning platform built and shipped under the client's own domain
Multiple nail education tracks supported by one content architecture
Branded enrolment and checkout flow end to end — no third-party interface
Course structure designed so new tracks can be added without developer work
Student progress and access handled natively rather than through a plugin
Direct customer relationship and data retained by the business, not the platform
