Open vynl.com.auVynl Nails had the craft. What she lacked was the infrastructure to make the market notice. No brand positioning, no content strategy, no pricing authority — just talent sitting behind 200 Instagram followers.
Gilly Dev built the infrastructure. vynl.com.au became the owned destination beneath a rented audience — with LocalBusiness schema, suburb-level metadata, and structured pricing so Sydney search could find the studio without Instagram in the middle.
Within 6 months, Vynl Nails transitioned from an unknown local artist into a category-defining brand with millions of organic views.
The Problem
Most nail artists compete on price. They post inconsistently, undercharge, and blend into a saturated feed. Vynl was no different — not because the work wasn't exceptional, but because nothing communicated that it was.
The result was invisible talent with zero leverage.
No brand positioning or visual identity to command premium pricing
No content system to generate consistent, compounding reach
No conversion funnel to turn views into booked appointments
The Strategy
We made one foundational decision early: Vynl Nails would not compete — it would set the standard. That required three strategic pillars.
Premium Repositioning
We anchored the brand around Gel-X as a signature service — a technique that signals craft, precision, and expertise. This became the lens for every piece of content and every client touchpoint.
Level-Based Pricing Architecture
We restructured pricing into a clear Level 1, 2, and 3 framework. Tiered pricing communicates mastery, filters serious clients, and creates natural aspiration toward higher-value bookings.
A Repeatable Content System
A reusable content formula — close-up nail shots, glossy directional lighting, consistent framing, hook-led Reels — with vynl.com.au as the destination every one of them points to.
Execution
Every post served a purpose. The content system prioritised Reels above everything — the highest-reach format on the platform — and we engineered each video around a single principle: stop the scroll in the first two seconds.
Hooks were written to create tension. Framing was designed to feel editorial. CTAs were embedded naturally into captions and video sequences to drive booking intent without friction.
The booking funnel was tightened so that traffic from viral content had a clear, frictionless path to conversion — with pricing transparency that reinforced premium positioning rather than apologising for it.

“Talent alone doesn't build a brand. Systems do.”
The nail industry — like most creative service industries — is full of skilled people who remain invisible because they have no framework for communicating their value. Vynl Nails had everything needed to win. The only missing ingredient was strategy.
When you give exceptional craft a premium positioning layer and a repeatable content engine, the market responds. Every time.
